Light a candle for Baby Loss Awareness

The organisers of Baby Loss Awareness Week are inviting families to light a candle this week as part of the global “Wave of Light” event.

Baby Loss Awareness week raises understanding of pregnancy loss and baby loss. It’s an issue close to our hearts as several members of the Pura team have experienced the heartbreak of baby loss.

So we’ll be supporting families across the world, who are being urged to light a candle at 7pm tomorrow (October 15) and to leave it burning for at least one hour to commemorate all babies that have died too soon.

In memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time, you can join in the virtual Wave of Light, take a photo of your candle and post it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #WaveOfLight at 7pm local time.

Wave of Light candles can be purchased from the Baby Loss Awareness shop.
