Wowsers - Pura's a Sky Zero Footprint Fund winner!Published on
We’re totally thrilled to announce that we’ve won the grand total of £250,000 in media value from the Sky Zero Footprint Fund.
An eco-conscious brand after our own heart, Sky has committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030 and as part of its eco efforts, the broadcasting company decided to set up a £2 million advertising fund to help other businesses trying to create a more sustainable world.
The first step was for Pura to submit an entry detailing why we should be selected, the good stuff we’ve been doing, and our idea for a brand new Pura TV advert designed to drive positive change.
We were delighted to be shortlisted with 10 other fabulous brands before a team from Pura were asked to do a video call pitch to an esteemed judging panel, including advertising legend Sir John Hegarty (we were slightly star-struck)!
After what seemed like a lot of sleeps, we’ve been finally informed that we’re one of five winners to receive the of £250,000 in media value to air our new ad. It will enable us to spread our easy eco-eco message to even more parents, encouraging more people to make the switch to products that are planet-friendly.
All of the five winning campaigns will be revealed as part of an advertising celebration of sustainability that will run across Sky Media's channels in the run-up to the COP26 Climate Change conference in November this year.
What happens next?
Now we need to put the TV advert idea presented to the judges into production.
In October, a final round of judging will select a single winner from the five shortlisted. If Pura is the victor, we will be given a whopping £1 millon in media value. Needless to say, we have our have fingers and toes crossed.
While we can’t reveal details of our new advert yet, we can hint that our outspoken but adorable spokesbabies may be returning to the big screen. Holy poops! Watch this space…
