Wowee! Our spokesbabies will be back on TV!Published on
Yipee - Pura's brand new television commercial will be revealed as part of an advertising celebration of sustainability across Sky Media’s channels in the run up to the COP26 Climate Change conference in November.
Our new eco-awesome ad was created for the Sky Zero Footprint Fund initiative – a £2m advertising fund which supports and inspires others to join the journey to Net Zero Carbon.
To enter, we had to come up with an idea for a TV ad that would encourage the nation to adopt more sustainable habits. We got past the first hurdle when we were shortlisted from around 100 entries down to 10 brands.
After presenting our idea to Sky’s judging panel, Pura was selected as one of the five winners alongside Here We Flo, OLIO, OVO Energy and Path Financial - the prize, £250k in media value.
Since August, we’ve been hard at work producing our commercial ahead of a final stage of judging at Sky’s Showcase, held on Monday in the Mayfair Hotel in London.
Pura had a wonderful time meeting judges and the other finalists at the Mayfair on Monday.
The commercial was unveiled to a panel of judges with strong views on advertising, creativity and sustainability.

Challenger sanitary and sexual health brand Here We Flo secured the Grand Prix £1m prize on the night. A big congrats to them!
Sarah Jones Director of Planning at Sky Media commented, “All the finalists delivered brilliant pitches with high quality, big impact, creative TV executions - Olio, OVO Energy, Path financial and Pura will launch their new TV campaigns alongside Here We Flo in a couple of weeks.
"We know that all our 5 winners will play a key role in encouraging the nation to make small but significant changes to help the planet. It’s exciting that through the process we’ve unearthed new and disruptive brands, giving them a platform to amplify their message through the power of TV.”
